Tenses in English :

English Language basically has three tenses:

  • Present Tense
  • Past Tense
  • Future Tense

The concept of Tense comes by the Verb Phrase in a sentence. The information the verb phase gives about the TIME and ASPECT of an event decides the TENSE. It says whether an event happened in the present, past or is going to occur in the future. The verb phrase also provides the speaker’s aspect of the action.
