Black Hole :

  • Black Holes are objects in outer space
  • Black Holes are objects with great density
  • They have very high gravitational force
  • Nothing can escape from a black hole, including light
  • We can find black hole only when it comes in contact with matter

Black Hole :  (Short Essay)

Black Hole is a region in outer space with great intensity and high gravitational force. Nothing can escape from a black hole. Even light cannot escape from a black hole. When something hits a black hole, it absorbs all the light and gives back only a black body. This is why the region is called “Black” Hole. Black Hole generally has  3 layers namely Outer Event Horizon, Inner Event Horizon and Singularity. There are three types of Black Holes – Stellar Black Holes, Super Massive Black Holes and Intermediate Black Holes. Generally, black holes do not “suck”, but only the objects fall into them.

Black Hole : (Brief Essay)

Black hole is one of the strangest objects in the nature. Black Holes are found in the outer space and they are objects with

  • Extreme Density
  • Strong Gravitational Force

The gravitational force is so high that even light when goes near a black hole cannot escape from it. It is called “Black” hole because when an object hits it, the hole absorbs all the light emitted by the object and leaves nothing like a black body.

If you have seen someone using a vacuum cleaner, understanding the concept behind a black hole is not so tough. How a vacuum cleaner pulls in all dirt in the room, Black Hole cleans out all the debris that is present in the outer space. However, a black hole does not suck any debris. As objects go near the black hole, they fall into it. Black Holes are invisible but you can clearly see the objects falling into it. In other words, a Black Hole can be seen when it interacts with matter.

Black Holes are so furious walls of fire that if someone goes near it, the person would die even before falling into it. A black hole is so forceful that if a star crosses it very near, the star will tear apart. Cygnus X-1 is the first Black Hole discovered.

Types of Black Holes : Black Holes are of three types and they are:

  • Stellar Black Holes
  • Super Massive Black Holes
  • Intermediate Black Holes

Layers In a Black Hole : Every Black Hole has three layers namely:

  • Outer Event Horizon
  • Inner Event Horizon
  • Singularity

The Event Horizon is the place or boundary of a black hole where the gravity is constant. Once an object reaches this boundary around a black hole, it cannot escape anymore. Singularity is the innermost layer of the black hole. The mass of the black hole is fully concentrated in Singularity.
