But it is true that one who is content is one who is complete. If we are satisfied with what we have we will lead a happy life. If not, life gets miserable. Only when we realise that happiness comes while we feel we have enough of what is needed, we can leaf life normally. So it is good to remember that “A bird in hand is worth 2 in the bush”.

A bird in hand is worth 2 in the bush – a very common yet famous saying that many of us fail to follow in life.

Are we really satisfied with what we are given? No.

There are people who complaint everything in life. Such people fail to realise that there are people who do not get even basics. The saying “Blue are the hills that are far away” goes with this proverb. Many people feel one thing is better than other. Only when such people realise that Something is better than Nothing they will stop comparing and complaining.

Also when we start comparing what we have with others we cannot lead a happy life. We should know that everyone is living their own life. Each day is different; so is everyone’s life. We get the best we deserve and we should be happy about it.

As students we should not compare ourselves with others. We have our own skills and talents. If we try to imitate others we might fail to exhibit our own skills.

So, we should be for who we are and realise that is what really makes the difference.
