Healthy vs. Junk Food: A Conversation Between Friends

James: Hey Molly, what’s up?

Molly: Not much. What about you?

James: I was just thinking about snacks. You know, I love junk food!

Molly: Yeah, me too but we shouldn’t eat too much of it. It’s not the best for our health.

James: Maybe… But it’s so yummy! How can we say no to something that tastes so good?

Molly: We don’t have to say no – there are healthy options out there as well! Have you tried some homemade popcorn with a bit of butter and sugar or some fruit salad with yogurt? They’re both delicious, and much healthier than a bag of chips or sugary sweets.

James: Hmm, that does sound like a good replacement! I think I’ll give it a try. Thanks for the suggestion Molly! Do you have any other healthy snacks for me to try?

Molly: Sure! There’s so many yummy snacks to choose from, like trail mix, granola bars or even roasted chickpeas. You can always experiment and make your own snack too.

James: That sounds great! I’m definitely going to try some of these healthier options next time I’m looking for a snack. Thanks again Molly!

Molly: what is your plan for the day?

James: I’m going to go for a jog and then come back home and grab a healthy snack! What about you?

Molly: Sounds like a great plan. I’m planning to go for a walk in the park and then make some of that homemade popcorn we talked about earlier.

James: Perfect! Let’s meet up later so we can talk about how our snacks turned out. See you later Molly!
