Few lines about Albert Einstein's childhoodAlbert Einstein was born in 1879 in Germany to a middle-class family. His father, Hermann, was an engineer and his mother, Pauline, was the daughter of a well-to-do businessman. His parents lived in Munich until 1888 when they moved to Italy because of Hermann’s engineering work.

Albert did not enjoy school there and showed no talent for mathematics or science. After returning home from school, he spent much of his time playing around with ideas and experimenting with machines.

At the age of 16, he ran away from home after believing his mother to be dying.  In 1905 at the age of 19, he published his first paper on Brownian motion which discussed random motion in microscopic particles.

This led him to start working for the Prussian Academy of Sciences in Berlin where he became famous for his research into relativity theory and other areas such as atomic energy.
