The importance of savings

The sun was beating mercilessly down on us on this hot summer day. The only thing keeping me going was the thought of my cold glass of lemonade waiting for me at home. I was almost there when I saw a man sweating profusely and panting on the pavement. The man looked like he was in trouble, so I rushed to assist him. He turned out to be diabetic and had run out of insulin. Fortunately, I was able to assist him and he was able to recover quickly.  Nevertheless, this incident made me think about the importance of saving. It could have been disastrous if I had not been able to help that man. As a result of this experience, I learned the importance of having savings in case of an unexpected emergency. You never know when you may need it. Start saving today  for a better tomorrow.
