Football is a very interesting game that keeps the audience engaged with the game till last minute. Football is a game that is famous worldwide. When it comes to India, the game follows Cricket in fame. Football in India has gained its popularity in Goa, West Bengal, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Assam, Manipur, Odisha, Kerala and Tamil Nadu too. Football in India was introduced by the British Soldiers in the nineteenth century. Though the game was introduced as a part of Sports for Army teams, the game flourished among common people through Football Clubs. Now, the good news is FIFA U-17 World Cup is scheduled to be held in our country.

Football,as we all know, is one of the most famous games in the world. There are hardly people who would say Football a boring game. Football is a famous game in India too, next to Cricket. Football is encouraged as an active sport in many schools of our country. In India, Football is famous in Goa, West Bengal, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Assam, Manipur, Odisha, Kerala and Tamil Nadu too.

Football, as a game, originated in India during the nineteenth century. British Soldiers introduced Football as a game between Army Teams. Later, clubs were set up which also started playing Football as a game of entertainment and competition. For India, the governing body of Football is the All India Football Federation, which was formed in the year 1937. All India Football Federation joined FIFA in the year 1948. During the advent of the Federation and 10 years since then Indian Football  Team earned a lot of recognition, it was like a golden era. Now, the game is not as famous a Cricket, but still encouraged an interesting game in many places. There are many people who are very crazy towards the game.
