Turkey in disguise template and disguised ideas

Thanksgiving is just around the corner, which means it’s time to start thinking about how you’re going to disguise your turkey this year! Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Check out our handy template and some disguised ideas below.

To get started, print out our Turkey in Disguise template. Next, have your child trace their own hands on the construction paper. Once they have two handprints, they can start decorating! Here are a few ideas to get them started:

  • Give your turkey a moustache or goatee.
  • Draw a bowtie or necktie under the chin.
  • Add some glasses.
  • Glue on some feathers.
  • Get creative and add whatever else you can think of!
  • On the back of the head, write what your turkey is really disguise as.

For example, “I am really a scientists.”

Once your child is done decorating their turkey, they can cut it out and glue it to the front of their shirt. Now they’re ready to strut their stuff at Thanksgiving dinner!
