2 Truths and One Lie Worksheets

Two Truths and a Lie is a quick get-to-know-you game: you write three statements about yourself, two true and one made up, and everyone else has to spot the lie. These two printable sheets turn it into a short writing activity for second graders. The first gives children three numbered speech bubbles to fill in. The second labels the statements A, B and C and ends with a line for the reveal, “My lie was ___ because ___”, so children explain their answer in a full sentence.

It works well in the first week of school, as a morning warm-up, or as a partner activity where children swap sheets and guess before the reveal.
